Installation Guide
Your download has started. Follow the instructions below to install Mixar.
macOS Installation
1. Locate the Downloaded File
Navigate to your Downloads folder and find
2. Mount the Disk Image
Double-click the .dmg file to mount the disk image
3. Install the Application
Drag the Mixar application to your Applications folder
4. Launch Mixar
Open Mixar from your Applications folder or Launchpad
5. Security Settings (if needed)
If macOS blocks the app, go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy → General and click "Open Anyway"
Windows Installation
1. Locate the Downloaded File
Navigate to your Downloads folder and find
2. Run the Installer
Double-click the .exe file to start the installation process
3. Security Warning (if prompted)
If Windows shows a security warning, click "More info" then "Run anyway" to proceed with the installation
4. Follow Installation Wizard
Complete the installation by following the on-screen prompts and accept the license agreement
5. Launch Mixar
After installation, launch Mixar from your Start Menu, desktop shortcut, or from the installer's final screen
Method 1: Graphical Installation
1. Locate Package
Navigate to your Downloads folder and locate
2. Install via Software Center
- Right-click the package file
- Select "Open With → Software Install"
3. Enable Software Center (if unavailable)
If Software Install option is missing, restore it via terminal:
sudo apt update && sudo apt install gnome-software
4. Complete Installation
Click "Install" in the Software Center, authenticate with your password, and wait for installation to complete.
5. Launch Application
Access Mixar through your Applications menu or launcher.
Method 2: Command Line Installation
1. Open Terminal
Launch terminal with Ctrl + Alt + T
2. Navigate to Downloads
cd ~/Downloads
3. Install Package
sudo dpkg -i
4. Resolve Dependencies (if needed)
sudo apt install -f
5. Launch Application
Run mixar in terminal or access via Applications menu.
